Before you hit record

How to film a standout audition

Keep it raw

No filters, heavy edits, or autotune. Scouts want to see and hear the real you.

Light your face

Face a window or a lamp. Avoid bright light behind you.

Show your full body

Dancers: keep head to toe in frame. Film horizontally if you can.

Clear sound

Vocalists and rappers: a quiet room, with the music lower than your voice.
